The Bosque At The Good Records

I went to the Bosque Brown's in-store appearance at Good Records yesterday and...it's was greatness.  I was in awe of Mara Lee Miller's voice is in a live setting, it sound just as great or better as it does on their record.  She and her sister/keyboard player sound wonderful when they harmonize.

It was great to hear "Train Song" live, it's my favorite song on the record, I thought it sounded better live than on the CD.  But, their whole performance was great.

you can see the our pics from the show here.

Free Beer With The O's

The O's will perform at Good Records this Thursday at 6p to celebrate the release of their album We Are The O's.  I believe I will be down there amongst the kiddos watching the band...and drinking free beer.

Good Records - Record Store Day

This Saturday is Record Store Day and it celebrates independent record stores. Well, Dallas' very own Good Records will be celebrating their 8th birthday right along with record store day. Good Records regularly has great in-store appearances and Saturday will not be any different. There will be a lot of great local talent there for the all-day event.

Plus the greatness of the Black Angels will be there!
