"Old Enough" Now With Ricky Skaggs!

Jack White will probably never cease to amaze me. He's a fantastic guitar player and he has a love for the history of music. Sure, working with Loretta Lynn caught me off guard. But, working with Bluegrass legend Ricky Scaggs is even more out of left field. My love for the Bluegrass has grown by leaps and bounds the last several years, so, this clip is more than welcome.

Two more things: 1) Ashley Monroe is fun to look at. 2) Jack White is starting to look like the devil. He's all pale with black hair and a weird look on his face. Now all he needs it to have a hound dog with him at all times and he'll be set.

Live Raconteurs

So I've been pretty Raconteurs friendly this last week. What, with the new album coming out and the tour, there is plenty of reason to love the guys who tell stories.

But, the goodness of I Am Fuel, You Are Friends you been blessed upon us yet again. You see, if you go there you can download a live Raconteur show. I've listened to it, it's pretty good, if not soundboard quality.

So, we find out yesterday that Jack White demanded that the new Raconteur album be released now. And today we find out the boys are going on a short little spring tour, I think that was Brenden Benson's demand. The good part is they're hitting the House of Snooze here in Dallas. Raconteurs Release Album

So, allegedly Jack White takes the master copy of the new Raconteur album, Consolers of The Lonely, into labels office this week and told them they wanted it to be released next week. And guess what, it will be.

The new album will be available in digital, vinyl and CD formats.
