Weekend Concerts in The D

The resurrected Stone Temple Pilots are playing this weekend at Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie (The GP). I can't wait to read the review on Monday to see if Weiland will hold it together and give a good show. All the reviews I've read to date have not been good for the band.

I don't have anything against STP, I have their first two albums, oh and the fourth. But, I just wouldn't pay good money to see them. But, who knows, right? Only the toes my friend, only the toes.

That's right, the boys who have the summer jam "Found Out About You" and "Hey, Jealousy" will be playing the Glass Cactus at The Gaylord thing in Grapevine. Will I be there? No. I only like that one song and that's about it. But, if you do go, have fun and drink up. You might need to.

STP Announce Tour Dates

I'm glad STP has finally announced where the hell they are going to play so all this reunion news will stop.

I do however find it odd that the last place Velvet Revolver played in Dallas was the House of Blues and STP are playing Nokia Theater. I wonder who's more popular? (Rock & Roll Daily)

STP Show This Monday, Monday, MONDAY!

The reunited Stone Temple Pilots will perform a show in LA this coming Monday at a secret location. What location is it you ask? I don't know, it's secret. But, it's going to be packed with contest winners and Citi card holders. Should be fun?

I wonder if he's going to poke fun at his most recent former bandmates? That crazy Weiland, always up to somethin'! Always like a cat landin' on his feet. (Spin)

STP Tour

When Weiland is not arguing with Matt Sorum he's planning a tour with Stone Temple Pilots. They apparently are going to do around 50 ampitheater shows this summer. So, they could be coming to a town near you soon. Maybe. If Scott can stay off the horse. Or, the booze. And not hit his wife. Or get arrested for DUI. (Billboard)
