Labels can always be deceiving, and the past couple of bands that have labeled themselves with the "psychedelic" monitor have thrown me off. Nashville's Mother/Father, to me, are far from psychedelic, man.
They have a sound that combines subtle Interpolian dark New Wavey-ness with a distinctly pop savvy of Tears For Fears. They don't sound like the typical band you would expect to come out of the home of Music Row.
