There are times when downtempo electronica and chill out has all the appeal of a walking down the street during a thunder storm. It's not often that you can find something that is captivating enough to listen through a whole song or album like their house music cousins.
Seattle's Lucine gets his recipe right by filling the sing with just the right mixture of blips and beeps, vocal edits and atmospheric qualities. His work is similar to that of UK producer Burial, choppy beats and synths that actually garner an emotional response.
