Friday Song Spectacular

MP3: Minus The Bear - My Time
A seriously odd step for an alt-y band... early 80's pop/new-wave-ish synths and a "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" lyrical stab.

MP3: Dr. Dog - Stranger
Still the stuff petchoulie loving hippy girls dance too...

MP3: Blasfemea - Maria
Seriously catchy Portuguese electro-pop.

MP3: Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights - Pardon Me
Sounds like "Dog Star Champion" channeled through Kenny Wayne Shepard

Minus The Bear

I heard these guys the other day and I was really intrigued. So, I looked them up, found some tunes and you know what? I like them a lot. I can't really compare them to any other band. They are pretty singular in my musical universe right now. Feel free to download "Throwin' Shapes" off of their last album Planet of Ice.
