The newest single from Morrissey's Year's of Refusal has hit the interweb, "Something Is Squeezing My Skull." It's not exactly what I would expect from Moz--pop-punk Morrissey style. I guess that's what happens when you live in L.A.?
Aside from the pop-punk tone of the music the thing that caught my attention most was the lyric "I know by now you think I should have straightened myself out." As to say 'I've been different version of the same subject matter for 20 years now.' I know he's not an idiot and is probably as self aware as any of us, but, it's odd to hear it come out of his mouth.
