The Meadows are two dudes from southern California who are steeped in Alt-Country know-how. Their debut album, First Nervous Breakdown, is a nice either alt-country or indie-pop record depending on which song you listen to. Their song "Wheels on The Road" reminds me of The Eagles, while "Where Do You Go?" reminds me of early nineties Matthew Sweet or Dinosaur Jr. The Meadows - Where Do You Go? (mp3)
