I've been listening to the Mezzanine Owls, out of L.A., for a couple of months now. And I've got to shoot you straight, they're pretty gosh darn good. They sound a little like Curve, only with a guy singing, a little shoe-gazey "Head On" kinda vibe.They are still unsigned and will be playing SXSW this month.
