Drexel University has the greatest course ever taught on the face of the planet! The university owns and the students run MAD Dragon Records. Now, when I was in college the coolest class to take was American Popular Music. This class beats the hell out of that! There are over 600 applicants yearly for only 54 openings.
I wonder if any of the freshman students think of the declining records sales and massive layoffs at record labels when they enroll in this course. Don't get me wrong, I'd still do it, people love music and always will. I'm sure they will figure out how to make the model work again for the music biz. (Yahoo!)
