DOMA Showcase Saturday

So, Saturday I'm going to brave the Texas heat and venture down to Lower Greenville and check out the Dallas Observer Music Awards showcase. I'm pumped about seeing 100 Damned Guns again and finally checking out Dove Hunter. I'm also pretty pumped to check out The BAcksliders, I've been pretty impressed with the tunes I've heard from them. I'm hoping to check out Bridges and Blinking Lights again. But, you never know what could happen.

Any other bands I should be checking out?

*UPDATE* The Observer blog, DC9 at Night, just posted that 100 Damned Guns will not be playing the showcase tomorrow at the Sugar Shack do to a personal matter. That sucks. Now on to another show.
